FAQ's and How to Join

Orange Tx- 4/8 Ask any bass fisherman the most consistent thing in bass fishing and you may very likely hear the answer of "inconsistency". From lures, patterns, depths, cover, and technology, it's an ever changing world when trying to figure out these creatures. One thing that has remained consistent in the bass fishing world for the young anglers of the SETX HS Fishing Association is that the last 22 tournaments have all been held on Sam Rayburn Reservoir. Last Saturday that streak was broken as the FORD SETX HS Championship Series presented by Skeeter Boats took their show on the road for the first time ever when they visited the massive Sabine River system. "It does not get more Southeast Texas than this" said tournament coordinator Bryan Thomas. "The people of Orange really did a great job of making all of us feel welcome. There were some hurdles to overcome with the logistics of the tournament, but just like we have done in the past, we overcame those and things worked out even better than expected" concluded Thomas.
